Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services using Go, with a focus on scalability and performance in a cloud-native environment
Work closely with teammates to plan and prioritize development efforts that align with evolving product needs
Dive deep into banking-specific domains, gaining expertise in the systems your team owns and understanding how changes impact the broader platform
Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth experience for end users
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience
2+ years focused on backend development
1+ years of experience working with Go (Golang)
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives-planning, breaking down work, and coordinating across teams
Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and observability in backend systems
Hands-on experience troubleshooting production issues, resolving customer-impacting bugs, and managing deployment pipelines
Preferred
A degree in Computer Science (helpful, but not a deal-breaker)
Familiarity with FinTech concepts-especially ACH, wire transfers, and Positive Pay
Experience building within a microservices architecture
Exposure to tools and technologies like CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability stacks, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
A strong sense of ownership-from shaping requirements with product managers to supporting your code in production
