New Grad, Entry LevelOptomi is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Associate Technical Writer to support the creation and maintenance of clear, user-focused documentation. This role involves closely working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex workflows into user-friendly instructions.

Responsibilities
Conduct informational interviews and participate in internal meetings with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate content needed to document processes
Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to ensure processes are fully understood and accurately captured
Develop clear, concise user instructions, job aids, and process documentation with a strong focus on end-user experience
Translate complex or ambiguous information into step-by-step instructions that are easy for users to follow
Adapt writing style, structure, and formatting to align with client-specific standards, terminology, and documentation practices
Revise and update documentation based on feedback, process changes, or evolving client requirements
Organize and maintain documentation to support ease of use and future updates
Qualification
Required
Experience conducting informational interviews or leading internal meetings to gather content and deep-dive into processes
Experience writing user instructions or working in environments where clear, step-by-step procedural documentation is required
Strong ability to think from the user's perspective and anticipate what users need to complete tasks successfully
Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to adjust quickly to a client's highly specific ways of working
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders and navigating ambiguity
Preferred
Familiarity with technical or process-driven environments
Exposure to documentation tools, style guides, or knowledge management systems
Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks while meeting deadlines
