Responsibilities
Support landfill and pond expansion projects, including liner systems and leachate collection systems
Develop project budgets and prepare bid packages for work going out to contractors
Coordinate with contractors to execute construction activities safely and effectively
Review and update engineering drawings and maintain project documentation
Track permits and ensure regulatory compliance throughout project execution
Collaborate with environmental engineers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
Spend approximately 50% of time in the field and 50% in the office
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience working on landfill, pond management, environmental construction, or brownfield projects
Strong understanding of construction execution and contractor coordination
Experience with budgeting, estimating, or bid package development
Ability to interpret and update engineering drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Preferred
FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification
Experience with both brownfield and greenfield projects
Previous experience working with environmental or landfill management vendors
