Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and certifying Design Specifications (DS) and Design Reports (DR) in accordance with ASME Section III requirements, as well as supporting licensing, compliance, and customer deliverables
Perform detailed design, analysis, and documentation for ASME Section III Class NF and/or HB
Develop and maintain design specifications, calculations, load evaluations, and qualification reports in compliance with ASME Section III and related nuclear codes and standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define design requirements, resolve technical issues, and optimize component performance
Qualification
Required
YOU MUST HAVE DEMONSTRATED ASME SECTION III EXPERIENCE
B.S. degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent preferred
Minimum of eight years of equipment / component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
