InternLycoming Engines, a Textron Systems affiliate, specializes in producing aircraft engines and is seeking an intern for their Procurement department. The role involves participating in procurement meetings, understanding purchasing functions, and managing purchase order dates while gaining exposure to inventory management and supplier quality engineering projects.

Responsibilities
Participate in mandatory procurement meetings
Gain exposure to our Inventory Management Process, Quality Improvement Processes, and Value Stream Improvement Process
Understand the purchasing function
Managing PO dates
Provide Documentation of indirect Spend Purchases and competing expense reports
RRQ project for a Contract Management Tool
Partner with the supplier quality engineering intern on supplier rationalization project
Gain exposure to executive management
Qualification
Required
Student should be engaged in the pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. materials, integrated supply chain or related degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
