Responsibilities
Serve as a key financial partner to the department and executive leadership
Lead enterprise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, project management, process improvement, and performance analysis activities
Work closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to deliver forward-looking financial insights
Assess the financial implications of major initiatives and facilitate informed decision-making
Provide exposure to executive leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and complex financial issues unique to the electric utility industry, including regulatory compliance, capital planning, and disaster recovery
Demonstrate sound judgment, communicate intricate financial information effectively, and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process optimization to enhance financial insight and organizational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of three years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Model management skills
Critical thinking skills
Preferred
Utility or regulated industry experience
CPA or equivalent advanced financial credentials
