Responsibilities
Design gas turbine rotating parts - shafts, disks and spools
Understand Manufacturing processes of rotating parts
Stress analysis experience using ANSYS
Lead third party design consultants for detailed design of specific components
Maintain compliance with engineering codes, standards and regulations
Interface as technical authority with service teams for gas turbine components
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
5+ years of relevant work experience within the Turbine Design and Manufacturing field
Familiarity with ANSYS Workbench tools
Leadership or Mentorship experience as Senior Design Engineer designing and manufacturing rotating parts
Excellent Communication Skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to work individually as well as with a team
Ambitious goals to grow within a company
