Responsibilities
Manage and audit benefits-related data in Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance
Run reports and update data as required
Serve as backup support for retroactive deduction processing during payroll cycles
Provide backup support for Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
Support FSA/HSA and 401(k) administration as needed
Assist with Qualified Life Events (QLE) and new hire benefit changes
Complete QMSCOs, Medicare Requests for Employment Information, and other compliance documentation
Respond to benefits-related inquiries from colleagues, managers, and HR partners via Zendesk
Provide operational backup to the Benefits Support team
Qualification
Required
General knowledge of benefits regulations, including enrollment and Qualified Life Events
Strong working experience with Workday (Benefits module preferred)
Experience using Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data accurately
Excellent time management and ability to work independently in a remote setting
1–2 years of experience in Benefits Administration, HR Operations, or a related field
