Responsibilities
Proactively monitor and reorder lab supplies to meet R&D needs
Initiate and maintain purchasing orders and vendor relationships
Provide domestic and international shipping support, collaborating with internal Trade Specialists
Manage lab instrumentation, including maintenance, calibration, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Coordinate specimen inventory and maintain an electronic database
Monitor and manage R&D refrigerator/freezer and incubator fleets
Ensure temperature LMS probes are active and temperatures are within tolerances
Generate and maintain trending reports
Coordinate responses to out-of-specification alarms
Work with leadership to ensure compliance with 6S standards and accurate training
Provide FDA/ISO audit support and ensure lab compliance with policies and regulations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of BS or BA degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant academic, clinical, or industry lab work
Knowledge of GLP and cGMP
Understanding of scientific instrumentation and molecular biology equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent time management and diligent skills
Effective interaction and influencing skills in a diverse group
Preferred
Experience with electronic inventory management systems
Experience in diagnostic product development under Build Control
