Responsibilities
Design and implement Quantexa-based AML, KYC, Fraud, and Sanctions solutions using entity resolution, scoring, rules, and graph analytics
Develop detection logic aligned with financial crime typologies such as TBML, layering, structuring, mule networks, and sanctions evasion
Build and optimize Spark-based data pipelines for customer, account, transaction, and external intelligence data
Model entities and relationships to deliver contextual network views for risk monitoring and investigations
Configure and tune Quantexa components including Entity Resolution, risk indicators, scoring models, and alerting logic
Develop custom Scala/Java extensions to enhance Quantexa functionality when required
Integrate Quantexa outputs with downstream systems such as case management, alerting, and dashboards
Collaborate with AML investigators, FIU teams, and compliance SMEs to validate typologies and improve detection accuracy
Support deployment, performance tuning, and production operations in cloud or on-prem environments
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in financial crime, data engineering, or risk analytics roles
Strong hands-on experience with Quantexa platform implementations
Proficiency in Scala or Java with extensive Apache Spark experience
Strong understanding of entity resolution, graph analytics, and network-based risk models
Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Parquet) and strong SQL skills
Proven ability to translate AML and fraud requirements into scalable technical solutions
Preferred
Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph)
Prior exposure to AML platforms such as Actimize, SAS AML, or Oracle FCCM
Knowledge of ML-based risk scoring or anomaly detection
Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or AWS/Azure cloud certifications
