Responsibilities

Champion lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in time, materials, labor, machine utilization, and other non‑value‑added activities
Develop, recommend, and implement process changes that enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational stability
Optimize workflows, sequences of operations, and resource utilization to support production goals
Build and maintain operating plans that ensure effective allocation of labor, equipment, and materials
Create and track performance metrics to monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive accountability
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput optimization, and cost savings
Conduct detailed data analysis to establish shop‑floor metrics, diagnose bottlenecks, and solve complex operational challenges
Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and production teams to provide technical support and drive cross‑functional problem‑solving

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; Industrial Engineering preferred
At least 2 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related discipline
Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies
Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Project, Word, PowerPoint), and analytical or business software
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of implementing process improvements
Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards, regulations, and best practices
Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams

Preferred

Completion of all required Global Manufacturing System (GMS) training
Prior experience in automotive manufacturing, production operations, or high‑volume industrial environments
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, systems, and production technologies
