Responsibilities
Design and implement Snowflake data warehouse architectures
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools
Create and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, streams, tasks, and stages
Perform data modeling using star and snowflake schemas
Optimize performance through query tuning, clustering, and cost optimization
Integrate data from diverse sources such as RDBMS, APIs, and cloud storage
Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance
Collaborate with analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions
Troubleshoot production issues and improve pipeline stability
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform
Advanced knowledge of SQL / Snowflake SQL
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Matillion, Talend, DBT, etc.)
Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
Proficiency in Python or Java
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines
Preferred
Experience with Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Snowpipe)
Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker
Understanding of enterprise data security and governance
Domain experience in financial services or enterprise systems
