Business Development Account Manager, Sunex Tool
VIS, LLC is the parent company of SUNEX® Tools, known for their high-quality automotive and industrial tools. They are seeking a Business Development Account Manager to establish and manage distributor relationships, drive growth, and support the sales team in their efforts to expand their customer base across North America.

Responsibilities
Actively identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
Connect, build relationships and support small, drifted and new accounts
Manage the Sales@sunextools.com email account for questions, issue resolution and new customer request submissions. Manage the review of new customer submissions and set up process
Work with Channel Management and Marketing teams to develop focused content, promotions and awareness campaigns that support and grow small/new accounts
Communicate impact, challenges, roadblocks and insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences and stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Channel Management, Product, Engineering, and Operations) to represent the needs of the sales team and their customers
Analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy
Provide regular forecasts, pipeline status updates, and key performance reporting to leadership
Generate reports and insights from CRM data to support pipeline forecasting and business decisions
MAP Policy: support Channel Management team with the MAP program
Support Account Managers in the field and at industry/customer shows as necessary
Build/Update the CRM using Monday.com
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role with measurable results
Track record of engaging and growing smaller accounts through successful communication and execution of marketing strategies that deliver strong brand and sales results
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
Experience developing, executing and measuring to a strategic growth plan
Experience developing working relationships and influencing at all levels of management, internally and externally
Ability to travel ~20% of the time
