Automotive IT / SaaS Sales Director
Purple Hires Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive IT Sales Director to lead enterprise B2B sales initiatives and drive revenue growth across the automotive domain. The role focuses on selling IT solutions and technology services to enterprise and mid-market clients while building strong customer relationships and leading high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies focused on the automotive domain
Identify, prospect, and close enterprise and mid-market clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers
Lead and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets
Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
Collaborate with marketing and product teams on go-to-market efforts
Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics
Monitor market trends and competitive activity
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience in B2B IT or technology sales
Proven success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience managing complex, long sales cycles
Ability to build long-term client relationships
Willingness to travel as required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Sales leadership experience
IT solutions or technology services sales background
Strategic planning and execution skills
Preferred
Automotive industry sales experience
Experience leading distributed or remote sales teams
MBA is a plus
Automotive domain experience strongly preferred
