Director - TPA Claims Support Operations
Xceedance provides strategic operations support, technology, and data services to drive efficiencies for insurance organizations worldwide. The Director – TPA Claims Support Operations will oversee claims back-office operations processes, ensuring timely resolution and improving productivity and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Responsible for oversight of the team moving claims back-office processing and operations to timely and appropriate resolution
Identifies and evaluates opportunities to improve productivity and customer experience by developing and using tools to facilitate efficient processes and monitoring the performance of team and service delivery
Conduct audits and reviews of tasks to ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, procedures, SLAs, and customer expectations
Analyze audit data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Adept with creating and streamlining process maps and SOPs for greater efficiency in the process. Develop training materials, documentation, quick reference guides and help to facilitate training sessions with the claims support teams
Create process maps and SOPs intended to document existing process as well as identify opportunities for greater efficiency in the process
Acts independently within scope of responsibility with a sense of urgency
Contributing to the organizational values by actively engaging in the larger learning and development process
Driving concise, structured, and effective communication with clients and team members
Qualification
Required
Expertise in the overall understanding of insurance, its key terminologies, and the claim handling process as a whole and is considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that the team looks up to
Exceptional knowledge of various claims operational processes products for multiple lines of businesses, thus being able to guide team members on specific queries
Possesses in-depth knowledge with respect to various property and casualty claims work types
Knowledge of the end-to-end claims process
Excellent eye for detail and logic building skills to draw logical and accurate insights
Innate ability to anticipate future outcomes or challenges by visualizing the bigger picture
Embodies an exceptional problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
A minimum of 3 years of commercial claims operations experience
Professional writing and communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate key insights and suggestions to clients and team members
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Previous experience leading a team is desired
