Vice President of Business Development – Automotive
Responsibilities
Own and deliver net-new revenue across Automotive OEMs, captive finance, mobility, and Automotive-adjacent partners
Build, manage, and close a forecastable pipeline aligned to company revenue targets
Personally lead the full sales cycle from first conversation through contract signature
Execute a disciplined personal sales plan tied to annual quota and multi-year growth
Sell consultatively at the C-suite and senior leadership level, translating client challenges into CX, contact center, digital, and skilled-labor solutions
Close complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar deals with minimal support
Leverage and expand an existing Automotive network to generate qualified opportunities and referrals
Build executive relationships with OEMs, partners, and strategic ecosystem players
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, not a transactional seller
Navigate procurement, legal, and governance structures typical in Automotive enterprises
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM
Operate with strong deal hygiene, stage discipline, and data-backed forecasting
Track KPIs tied to pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance
Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Partner closely with Solutions, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to close deals that deliver real client value
Provide market feedback to refine offerings, pricing, and positioning
Support demand generation and partner strategies with real-world insight from the field
Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes as the business grows
Qualification
Required
15–20+ years in Automotive, mobility, or Automotive-adjacent industries
Proven success closing complex, enterprise-level services deals
Demonstrated ability to manage C-suite and senior executive relationships
Track record of closing multi-million-dollar, multi-year contracts
Experience working with or alongside BPO, CX, or digital services organizations
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent)
Solid financial and commercial acumen
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with standard business productivity tools and virtual meeting platforms
Bachelor's degree required
Travel as needed for client engagements and industry events
Ability to work effectively in a distributed, global organization
