Responsibilities
Lead design and development of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
Drive architecture decisions aligned with long-term technical roadmap
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, code quality, and design standards
Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability
Collaborate with DevOps/SRE on CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure
Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Own non-functional requirements including performance, security, resiliency, and compliance
Qualification
Required
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role
Expert-level experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
Strong hands-on experience designing and guiding AWS cloud-native architectures
Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred
AWS certifications
Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
Front-end exposure (React or Angular)
Experience with application security and vulnerability remediation
