Information Technology Procurement Manager
Confidential company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented IT Procurement Manager to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the procurement strategy for the IT department, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality and cost-effective technology solutions while optimizing supply chain processes and fostering strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals. Identify and engage with top-tier vendors to secure the best technology solutions
Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contract terms. Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement
Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality. Implement cost-effective procurement practices that contribute to the company's bottom line
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their technology needs and provide procurement support. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities. Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement performance and cost savings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience in IT procurement, with a track record of successful vendor negotiations and cost savings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in procurement software and tools
Preferred
A Master's degree is a plus
