DevOps Manager
DRUM Associates is a leader in the insurance industry seeking a driven and versatile DevOps Manager to join their Application Services Team. This role involves owning production reliability and application health, leading incident response, and collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure the stable delivery of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
Own production operations and application reliability, ensuring system uptime, stability, and performance across enterprise platforms
Lead and coordinate Sev1 / Sev2 incident response, acting as escalation point and communicator to leadership
Oversee monitoring and observability using tools like Datadog and AlertOps, tuning alerts and reducing noise
Manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes (Azure DevOps preferred), ensuring safe, predictable deployments
Lead and develop a hands-on Application Services team, providing coaching, prioritization, and operational guidance
Own the Application Services backlog, prioritizing production support, improvements, and automation efforts
Drive automation initiatives, including low-code/no-code solutions (Power Automate) to reduce manual effort
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align expectations, communicate risks, and deliver reliable outcomes
Continuously improve processes, reduce system complexity, and introduce automation and resiliency patterns
Qualification
Required
8+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years supporting live, production systems
Minimum of 2 years in a DevOps, release management, or application operations leadership role
2+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, particularly for .NET (C#) and/or Salesforce environments
Demonstrated experience (2+ years) leveraging low-code / no-code platforms, such as Power Automate, to automate workflows and processes
2+ years of hands-on experience managing source code repositories (Git) and supporting automated configuration and deployment processes
At least 2 years of people management experience, including direct oversight of team members
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or another relevant field of study
