Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and execution strategies
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope documents
Coordinate closely with Foremen and Superintendents to optimize workflow and sequencing
Establish, track, and forecast project budgets; identify and mitigate cost risk
Review subcontractor and supplier pricing, billings, and invoices for accuracy and compliance
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Facilitate project meetings and provide clear reporting on schedule, budget, production, and risk
Prepare and negotiate change orders and manage project documentation
Mentor Project Engineers and support field leadership
Enforce quality standards and company safety policies
Identify issues early and drive solutions before they become problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in commercial construction (drywall, metal framing, or related trades preferred)
Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control
Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Plexxis, OnCenter, BuzzBid, and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
Proven experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in drywall, framing, or interiors
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and productivity
Ability to lead crews and hold high standards for safety and quality
Clear communication and coordination skills
OSHA knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
Preferred
Prior construction or construction management experience
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, project management and estimating software)
Basic understanding of construction drawings and materials
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in construction, estimating, or a related trade
Familiarity with construction drawings and terminology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with OST, Bluebeam, or similar software a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
