Qualification
Required
Minimum of eight years of professional journalism experience with editing responsibilities
Ability to work 5 days/week, 6am-2pm weekdays and 1 day/weekend
Proven leadership experience managing reporters or editorial teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong record of breaking news, high-volume content and shaping coverage across multiple beats
Deep knowledge of Los Angeles and California news, culture, and politics
Excellent news judgement, copy editing, and headline writing skills
