Litigation Paralegal
Responsibilities
Litigation Paralegal must be able to work independently, capable of drafting complaints, discovery and other court documents, as well as meeting court deadlines, organizing medical records and exhibits, and communicating with clients and expert witnesses
Beyond routine office duties, the litigation paralegal is often called on to assist in depositions, witness preparation, and research
The paralegal is typically the one who prepares and handles all exhibits
They will also attend trials acting as an assistant to the attorney during the court proceedings
When the trial is over, they will be responsible for closing out the case documents

Capable of drafting complaints, discovery and other court documents
Able to meet court deadlines
Organizing medical records and exhibits
Communicating with clients and expert witnesses
Assisting in depositions
Witness preparation
Research
Preparing and handling all exhibits
Attending trials acting as an assistant to the attorney during court proceedings
Responsible for closing out the case documents
