Responsibilities
Architect a cloud data warehouse/lakehouse to ingest large-scale transactional + operational data
Define integration and ingestion strategies; oversee pipeline design and delivery
Build a reference architecture using Databricks Delta Lake (or similar)
Lead semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud
Optimize performance (query tuning, modeling, data layout, scalability)
Qualification
Required
7+ years in data engineering/data architecture (must have helped stand up data warehouses)
Strong data modeling and advanced SQL
Cloud experience: Azure preferred (AWS/GCP ok)
Tools: Databricks + Snowflake preferred (similar platforms accepted)
Preferred
SAP S/4 experience strongly preferred (major hiring factor)
