Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and reports for the private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Maintain the books and records of the funds, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and valuation of investments
Assist with the coordination of annual financial audits and tax compliance, including providing necessary documentation and answering auditor inquiries
Work closely with investors to address inquiries and provide accurate and timely financial information
Monitor cash flows, process capital calls, and distribute capital distributions to investors as per fund agreements
Contribute to various projects, process improvements, and financial analyses as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3-5 years of experience in either Big 4 audit or tax roles
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external parties
Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
An understanding of private equity and investment fund accounting is a plus but not required
