Senior Product Manager, Strategic Partnership

Responsibilities

Own and manage relationships with multiple external strategic partners, including defining roles and responsibilities, setting communication cadence, establishing partnership goals, reviewing performance metrics, and resolving escalations
Support the implementation and adoption of product development lifecycle methodologies, tools, templates and best practices
Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify opportunities and trends in self-funded healthcare administration, cost containment and medical management solutions to inform the product pipeline
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop compelling value propositions and positioning strategies that drive market adoption
Support the development of a comprehensive product vision and roadmap that addresses the needs of TPAs, self-funded employers, and cost containment partners
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and continuous enhancement for a portfolio of products and services
Partner with IT team to define technical requirements, ensure seamless integrations, and enhance system capabilities
Design and optimize solutions to improve the member experience, improve efficiency and deliver outcomes
Stay informed of innovative solutions and opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve quality, simplify the member experience, streamline processes and reduce administrative burdens
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, create training materials, and produce sales enablement tools
Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and client onboarding for new products and features
Support Business Development teams by providing product insights and participating in sales presentations to prospective clients
Work with Legal, Finance and Operations to establish contracting frameworks and service-level agreements (SLAs)
Partner with IT and Data teams to develop business intelligence tools and analytics that support informed decision-making
Conduct pilot programs and beta testing to validate product effectiveness and gather feedback before full-scale rollout
Develop and maintain product performance dashboards to monitor key metrics such as claims savings and member engagement
Establish feedback loops with clients and internal teams to identify areas for product improvement and innovation
Work with Operations to address and resolve product-related service issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction
Conduct regular business reviews and product retrospectives to assess performance and inform future roadmap planning
Collaborate with Finance teams to define pricing strategies, perform ROI analyses, and project cost savings
Stay abreast of industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, CMS guidelines) and emerging cost-containment models to ensure compliance and innovation
Provide executive leadership with insights into product performance, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities

Required

7+ years of product development and management experience in healthcare administration, payer solutions, healthcare technology, clinical product or self-funded benefits
Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management
Proven experience managing full product lifecycles, from strategy development to post-launch optimization
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, Finance and legal teams
Data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing claims data, performance metrics, financial metrics and member engagement metrics
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of presenting to executives, clients, and industry stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field

MBA or advanced degree preferred
