They are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer Intern who will assist in the development and validation of diagnostic and root-cause analysis systems for battery pack systems, collaborating with various engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Analyze high-impact, high failure rate components retrieved from the field
Support Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics and Systems engineering design elements of product design
Develop documentation, requirements, and test procedures
Assist in mechanical, electrical, software and systems design for building, validating, and improving diagnostic tools
Interface with external vendors on tooling and systems development
Create standardized root-cause analysis technical reports, inline with supporting Quality, Production, and Engineering Design department feedback
Complete a 12-week final project presentation at the end of internship
Report the progress of tasks on a regular basis
Adhere to federal and state regulations
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Predictable and reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics, Systems, or other relevant degree
Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program
Must be actively enrolled in school
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficient with LLM-AI, Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
