Responsibilities
You’ll identify and research potential real estate acquisition opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry resources
You’ll conduct financial analyses and property evaluations to determine feasibility and alignment with organizational goals
You’ll initiate and manage negotiations with property owners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms
You’ll coordinate and oversee the full due‑diligence process, including inspections, title reviews, and environmental assessments
You’ll prepare and present acquisition proposals, financial models, and strategic recommendations to management
You’ll work closely with legal counsel to ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are met
You’ll maintain accurate records of acquisition activities and stay current on market trends and regulatory changes
You’ll collaborate with development, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of acquired properties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field
10+ years of experience in property acquisition, real estate transactions, or a similar role
Must be a self-starter that is reliable, responsive to client needs, professional, and have the ability to maintain long-term relationships with clients and other construction related and business professionals and handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Preferred
Master's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of real estate markets, property valuation, and acquisition processes
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with real estate databases a plus
Learning oriented, creative and possess advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new projects
