As Director of Projects, you will be accountable for the planning, execution, and delivery of major industrial facilities, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects meet safety, cost, and schedule objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead early-stage scoping, feasibility, and definition activities
Establish project scope, cost estimates, execution strategies, and schedules
Ensure all work required to achieve operational readiness is included
Direct all engineering, procurement, and construction activities
Secure internal and external resources required for technical studies, design, testing, and execution
Oversee contractor selection, equipment procurement, and construction support
Ensure quality reviews and technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle
Build, lead, and align large, multidisciplinary project teams
Establish effective communication, decision-making, and accountability structures
Guide project managers, engineers, and site leadership to deliver outcomes
Maintain full accountability for budget, schedule, and delivery performance
Implement corrective actions where deviations occur
Work closely with project controls to track progress and KPIs
Act as the senior authority for safety and environmental performance
Ensure all work is executed in line with approved HSE standards and legal requirements
Promote a visible, uncompromising safety culture across all project activities
Interface with corporate functions, site operations, technical services, and external partners
Ensure alignment between project delivery and operational readiness
Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering or related discipline
15+ years' experience delivering large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
Strong background in EPCM or owner-side project leadership
Experience managing projects with very large workforces and complex logistics
Proven capability in field-based execution roles
Strong understanding of construction productivity, labour forecasting, and heavy equipment installation
Experience with scheduling tools, performance tracking, and delivery KPIs
Willingness to travel internationally and work extended site schedules
