Logistics Sales Account Manager
Freeway International Logistics is a transportation logistics company that prioritizes the needs of shippers and carriers. They are seeking an Account Manager to focus on acquiring new clients, building relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Target and acquire potential clients through outbound cold calls
Identify decision-makers and influencers in client organizations
Cultivate strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
Provide competitive price quotes, considering client needs and market conditions
Negotiate cost-effective shipping rates with carriers
Evaluate and select carriers based on cost, reliability, and service quality
Manage shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
Qualification
Required
1 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in logistics or a related industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets
MS Office and MS Excel proficiency
Effective time management skills for prioritizing tasks
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with CRM systems for lead tracking and management preferred
