Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a Design Verification (DV) team of at least 5 members
Work closely with design, architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams to drive verification strategy
Review team deliverables and ensure high-quality verification output
Perform Unit/Module-level Verification using SystemVerilog and UVM methodology
Develop UVM-based testbenches from scratch, including environment, sequences, drivers, monitors, and scoreboards
Own and execute test planning, verification strategy, and test case development
Develop, analyze, and maintain functional and code coverage to ensure verification completeness
Debug complex design and verification issues, ensuring timely issue closure
Qualification
Required
8–15 years of relevant experience in digital design verification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Proven experience leading DV teams in a fast-paced engineering environment
Strong hands-on expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
Deep knowledge of verification methodologies
Deep understanding of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB) – mandatory
Experience with VIP (Verification IP) integration and bring-up
Porting legacy Verilog/VHDL test environments to modern UVM-based environments
Coverage coding, analysis, and closure
Must be USC or GC due to customer requirements
Preferred
Familiarity with simulation tools such as VCS, Questa, Xcelium, etc
Strong debugging skills using waveform viewers and RTL simulators
Excellent communication and documentation skills
