Responsibilities
Review, rationalize, and simplify an existing multi-tab operating model
Identify redundancies, gaps, unclear ownership, and broken handoffs
Consolidate scattered logic into a single, clear source of truth
Translate complex models into clean SOPs, playbooks, and process maps
Build RACI / RAPID frameworks and governance structures
Document onboarding, matching, collections, exception handling, and escalation paths
Turn tribal knowledge into repeatable, scalable systems
Own the integrated 90-day GTM and operations workplan
Turn an existing plan into a maintainable, execution-grade roadmap
Define milestones, owners, dependencies, and critical path
Manage multiple workstreams with clear prioritization
Track progress against baselines; flag risks, constraints, and slippage early
Rebaseline plans as assumptions or conditions change
Run weekly execution reviews and stakeholder updates
Build and maintain KPI dashboards and operational scorecards
Define leading vs lagging indicators for core workflows
Run weekly business reviews with variance and root cause analysis
Establish control cadences, thresholds, and escalation triggers
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements
Act as the single source of truth for execution
Coordinate across founders, advisors, contractors, and partners
Work with offshore EAs handling day-to-day admin execution
Manage cross-functional dependencies and escalations
Communicate clearly and concisely at both operator and executive levels
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and systems thinking
Excellent at simplifying complex, messy systems
Comfortable taking ambiguity and turning it into structure, then execution
Deep understanding of dependencies, trade-offs, and operational leverage
Excellent written communicator — clear, tight documentation (not decks)
Manages schedules, risks, and resources with rigor
Self-directed, highly accountable, and detail-oriented
Preferred
Management consulting (MBB, Big 4, or strong boutique firms)
Senior project or program management (PMP strongly preferred)
Operations, PMO, or business transformation roles
Chief of Staff or Strategy & Operations at a startup or scale-up
Experience with marketplaces or B2B sales operations
Familiarity with change management methodologies
Background in operational excellence or process optimization
Experience hardening or cleaning up existing operating models
