Responsibilities
Lead technical development and projects for new epoxy curing agent product development in protective coating application
Provide technical service based on customer needs
Analyze complaints, develop solution, and support market launch
Clarify trends in the market and support filling the innovation pipeline
Monitor the competitive environment in the market for product support and development
Deliver presentations during customer visits and at exhibitions/conferences and provide technical training to colleagues, distributors, and customers
Collaborate with key functions such as marketing, sales, supply chain, production product stewardship and global coating team to ensure alignment on project development
Support EHSQ relevant roles in lab and follow ESHQ and 5S rules in daily lab work
Qualification
Required
Master degree or above in organic chemistry, polymer science, chemical engineering, or a related field
At least 3:5 years of industrial experience with a proven track record in new product and successful business development
Ability to manage R&D projects to meet timelines
Strong team player in cross-functional and global teams
High motivation to drive new technology initiatives and innovation projects
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience with epoxy, polyurethane chemistry is preferred, especially with crosslinker products for metal anti-corrosive coating applications
