Full Stack Java Developer
JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications in a cloud-first environment. The role focuses on backend and cloud development with AWS while also supporting modern frontend integrations, requiring strong experience in building scalable services and delivering high-quality code.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into well-defined, testable technical solutions
Design, develop, and deliver backend and full-stack components using Java and Spring Boot
Contribute to application and service-level design and architecture discussions
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services to support frontend applications
Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, non-functional requirements, and quality targets
Drive development activities to meet delivery timelines and milestones
Maintain high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automation
Investigate and resolve issues identified by QA or production support with a strong sense of ownership
Participate in Agile development practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to apply them effectively
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with AWS (cloud-native development and deployments)
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices
Familiarity with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns
Experience with Node.js
Working knowledge of React for frontend integration
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
Preferred
Design and architecture experience in distributed systems
Experience working in cloud-heavy environments with minimal UI focus
Strong understanding of software quality, performance, and scalability considerations
Ability to take ownership, make informed decisions, and work effectively in a 'test and learn' environment
