They are seeking an Insurance Advisor to handle inbound and outbound calls, consult with customers on their insurance needs, and close sales to meet targets in a sales center environment.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to leads, consult with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products and benefits to convert leads into customers. We provide all of your leads
Assesses customer’s insurance needs and suggest/advise products and coverage’s based on a need/exposure assessment. Conducts need/exposure assessments involves interviewing prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of their person or property to be insured, claims history and coverage gaps
Finalizes the sale, coordinates collection of deposits, arranges for binders and certificates, and briefs the service team on the policy sale
Maintains a concern for accuracy, timeliness and completion when interacting with current and prospective clients
Maintains understanding and knowledge of insurance and underwriting criteria for insurance company partners represented by the firm to effectively communicate to all involved

Required

Comfortable making calls and talking to people on the phone all day
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
Eager to expand company with new sales
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8-5 and one Saturday per month 9-1

Preferred

Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred but willing to talk with outgoing people
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred

Benefits

We will take care of all licensing and you will be paid for all studying and taking a 40 hour online course all about property and casualty insurance
