Sales Development Representative

Crisis Prevention Institute Inc. (CPI) is the worldwide leader in evidence-based de-escalation and crisis prevention training. The Sales Development Representative will support the Sales team in selling CPI’s training programs by generating interest, managing leads, and scheduling meetings with prospective customers.

Responsibilities

Generate interest in CPI training programs, engage with prospective customers, and schedule meetings with prospects and the CPI Account Executives and Enterprise Sales Executives
Manage a pipeline of leads via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, reporting on pipeline status regularly
Deliver warm leads to the Account Executives and Enterprise Sales teams
Utilize sales generation tools, cold calling, and emailing to generate new sales opportunities
Support leadership when asked by actively participating in projects and/or assignments within the department or cross-departmentally
Identify and share best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook with team members and leadership
Serve as a key member of the Sales Development Team
Assist in the professional development of other team members through job shadowing, formal training, and serving as the point of contact for additional questions
Perform other position-related duties as assigned

Required

High school Diploma or GED
Experience working with Microsoft Suite products
High level of customer focus, with internal and external customers
Well organized and capable of managing multiple tasks at one time
Results-driven
Strong verbal and written communication
Intellectually curious with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and be a member of a multi-function team
High attention to detail

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience working with a CRM, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
Experience working with sales enablement tools such as SalesLoft, Gong, or Hubspot
