Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using Java + Serenity BDD
Build reusable and scalable API automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices
Create and execute automated test suites for RESTful and SOAP APIs
Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Debug API failures, analyze logs, and provide root cause analysis
Perform functional, regression, and exploratory API testing using Postman and Bruno
Create and manage API collections, scripts, test data, and environment configurations
Use scripting (JavaScript inside Postman/Bruno) for validation and assertions
Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using Apache JMeter
Create realistic performance scenarios and parameterized test plans
Analyse JMeter reports and identify system bottlenecks (CPU, memory, DB, latency, etc.)
Communicate performance findings and recommendations to development and DevOps teams
Participate in framework enhancements to improve stability, speed, and maintainability
Ensure test automation aligns with project quality standards
Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality delivery
Qualification
Required
5 to 8 years of experience
Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using Java + Serenity BDD
Build reusable and scalable API automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices
Create and execute automated test suites for RESTful and SOAP APIs
Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Strong experience in Java programming
Hands-on experience with Selenium (UI + API integration capabilities)
Expert in Serenity BDD Framework for API automation
Strong working knowledge of RESTful API concepts, JSON/XML, request/response validations
Proficiency with Postman and Bruno for API functional testing
Solid experience designing performance scripts using Apache JMeter
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins or any CI/CD tool
Knowledge of HTTP protocols, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, Basic Auth)
