Front End Software Engineer
Bloomfield is revolutionizing the way crops are monitored and managed with their AI-powered imaging technology. As a Front End Engineer, you will develop user interface components and enhance the user experience of web mobile applications, collaborating with AI and Backend teams to present plant insights.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end components for both the Bloomfield Dashboard and our internal component library using React, TypeScript, and other technologies like Material UI, Redux, and LaunchDarkly
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and enforce best practices
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components and help guide API design
Qualification
Required
2 - 5 years of experience in front-end or other software engineering roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in React and TypeScript, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work and projects
Experience with other front-end technologies like MUI and Progressive Web Apps
Demonstrated experience in building responsive and visually appealing web applications
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Familiarity with git and common git workflows
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end development
Preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with mapping and charting libraries, such as Chart.js and Mapbox
UI/UX and startup experience
Experience utilizing AI tooling and IDEs to increase development efficiency
