Group Business Development Manager
TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Group Business Development Manager to drive net-new group business for a select portfolio of independent lifestyle hotels. This highly sales-forward role involves sourcing, soliciting, and closing new group business while managing relationships with third-party planners and hotel leadership.

Responsibilities
Proactively source, solicit, and close new-to-the-hotels group business
Build and convert relationships with third-party meeting planners, sourcing agencies, and intermediaries
Focus on corporate, association, SMERF, and regional group segments not historically captured by the hotels
Represent Intera Collection hotels as an extension of each property’s sales team
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contracting and turnover
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and production reporting in Salesforce Delphi
Collaborate with hotel DOSMs and GMs on strategy, pricing, and opportunity alignment
Travel as needed for client meetings, sales calls, and industry events
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success generating net-new group business in a hotel sales environment
Experience selling independent or lifestyle hotels (required)
Strong relationships within the third-party meeting planner and intermediary community
Delphi fluency required; disciplined CRM user
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable in a commission-heavy compensation model
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
