Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and optimize SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NTA, DPA) and Logic Monitor platforms across transit systems
Develop custom dashboards, alerts, and reports aligned with operational KPIs and SLA thresholds using both SolarWinds and LogicMonitor
Integrate SolarWinds with cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party tools for unified observability
Partner with application owners to provide out-of-the-box and custom monitoring
Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and operations teams to ensure resilient monitoring coverage
Maintain and enhance monitoring for infrastructure operations
Document architecture, workflows, and escalation protocols for internal and vendor stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds in enterprise or public sector environments
3+ years of experience deploying and managing LogicMonitor in hybrid or cloud environments
Strong command of SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, and database polling techniques
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and custom integrations
Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud), especially Azure or AWS
Familiarity with database queries for custom database monitoring
Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident response workflows
Preferred
Demonstrable experience in critical infrastructure domains
SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) or equivalent certifications
LogicMonitor Certified Associate or Professional is a plus
Experience with Orion SDK and API-based data extraction
