Responsibilities
Automate at scale: Create and maintain scripts/runbooks for onboarding, patching, compliance, and common remediations
Apply practical AI: Build features like ticket summarization, intent routing, and knowledge‑base draft generation with privacy/guardrails
Integrate systems: Connect service desk, monitoring, documentation, and security tools via APIs and webhooks; normalize data for reporting
Improve reliability: Set up safe change practices (version control, testing, staged rollouts) and track success/failure with clear metrics
Document & enable: Write clear runbooks and coach the team so Tier 1/2 can use automations confidently
Reduce billing mistakes: Streamline processes by ensuring accurate user and device counts across multiple systems
Evolve our operations: Evaluate our current systems and help modernize processes to stay aligned with industry best practices for MSPs
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years in an MSP, SRE, systems engineering, or similar automation‑heavy role
Strong PowerShell and solid Python for production automation
Experience building API integrations and event‑driven workflows
Comfort designing policies, baselines, and managing configuration drift
Version control and code review habits (Git or similar)
Clear communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience reducing ticket volume through automation or workflow redesign
Familiarity with secure configuration baselines and compliance reporting
Experience shaping lightweight AI/LLM tools for ops teams
