Psychology Intern-MSH-Adolescent Health Center-FT-Days
The Mount Sinai Health System is one of the largest academic medical systems in the New York metro area, and they are seeking a Psychology Intern for the Adolescent Health Center. The intern will conduct intake evaluations, provide therapy and counseling under supervision, and engage in various clinical responsibilities to support patient care.

Responsibilities
Conducts intake evaluations
Provides individual, group and family therapy
Provides parental counseling
Provides supervision of psychology externs
Attends didactic classes/seminars for trainees
Conducts psychologist testing
Writes psychological reports
Provides case management services
Prepares clinical notes and correspondent
Maintains accurate, up-to-date clinical charts
Participates in team meetings
Qualification
Required
Master's degree and doctoral level training in clinical or school psychology
2 - 3 years of part-time predoctoral clinical experience in a hospital setting
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned area
