Working directly with the team to learn about insurance regulatory and legal requirements
Gaining hands-on experience within Legal & Compliance operations with opportunities to review legal documents
Completing special projects and real-world work deliverables
Qualification
Required
1st or 2nd year law school student
Excellent academic credentials (GPA 3.0 or above)
Demonstrated leadership abilities and analytical skills
Computer proficiency
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Property and casualty insurance market interest
US Work Authorization required. Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future
Preferred
Insurance, legal or document drafting experience preferred, but not required
