Responsibilities
Supervising and managing security operations across 7-9 locations, including hiring, training, and scheduling a team of 8-10 Site Security Specialists
Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to maintain robust corporate protocols
Establishing and monitoring KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the corporate security plan and reporting findings to leadership
Ensuring adequate coverage at all warehouse locations, managing assignments to meet site-specific security requirements, and coordinating staffing during callouts or time-off requests
Providing ongoing training, coaching, performance evaluations, and documentation for team members, as well as addressing disciplinary matters when necessary
Communicating clear directives and guidance to the security team to ensure alignment with company objectives
Preparing reports, conducting investigations, and responding to inquiries with thorough documentation
Maintaining adherence to safety rules and promptly reporting unsafe or hazardous conditions to the appropriate authorities
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience as a security specialist, guard/officer, or equivalent, including military or civilian police experience
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize urgent staffing requirements effectively
Strong experience in networking and building professional relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with computer systems
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred
High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred
