Senior Workforce Management Developer - UGK

They are seeking a Senior Workforce Management Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between UKG platforms and internal/external systems, ensuring high-quality and scalable integration solutions that enhance business operations across various functions.

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, tests, and maintains integrations between UKG platforms and internal/external systems
Builds and supports APIs, flat‑file integrations, scheduled data flows, and custom connectors
Ensures scalability, reliability, and accuracy of data transfers
Works with HR, Payroll, IT, and business partners to gather requirements
Translates functional needs into technical specifications, mapping documents, and workflows
Documents all integration designs and data flow diagrams
Coordinates with UKG support, third‑party vendors, and internal teams
Troubleshoots and resolves system or vendor‑related data flow issues
Ensures integrations follow UKG best practices
Monitors integration performance, logs, and error queues
Provides issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term remediation
Ensures compliance with data governance and audit requirements
Identifies opportunities for automation, optimization, and modernization
Recommend process improvements aligned with organizational strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree: Computer and Information Science
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in and support within a healthcare environment
Dell Boomi certification is required
Ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple integration tasks simultaneously
Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures and performance issues
Ability to develop solutions for problems where existing precedents may not exist
Ability to document technical solutions, mappings, workflows, and integration specifications
Knowledge of integration technologies, including REST/SOAP APIs, web services, SQL, SFTP, middleware, and ETL tools
Strong understanding of UKG data models, connectors, imports/exports, Dell Boomi, and UKG API frameworks
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps concepts, and modern SDLC practices
Knowledge of information security principles related to data integration and secure data transfers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of risk mitigation practices related to system integrations
Preferred
degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Experience leading major ERP upgrades, implementations, or transformation initiatives
Strong design‑thinking, creative problem‑solving, and strategic‑roadmap development skills
Highly effective collaborator with demonstrated success driving people, process, and technology change
Subject matter expert in Workday, UKG, ServiceNow or other ERP technologies
