Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate option agreements
Draft, review, and negotiate equity and ownership-related agreements
Prepare and advise on advisor agreements
Provide general corporate and commercial legal support in a startup/emerging company setting
Support entertainment-focused clients with practical, business-minded legal guidance
Qualification
Required
Significant experience in corporate and commercial law, particularly with startups or emerging companies
Strong background in entertainment law (California experience strongly preferred)
Familiarity with employment law as it relates to entertainment and creative businesses
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Confident communicator with sound business judgment
Comfortable taking initiative and leading legal matters when required
Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing, is required
Preferred
New York Bar admission preferred, but not required
