Responsibilities
Provide on‑site support for enterprise Dell server and data center systems
Perform hardware maintenance , including:
Server builds and deployments
Server swaps and full system replacements
Component replacement (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, etc.)
Firmware and BIOS updates
Troubleshoot issues across:
Hardware
Firmware
Operating systems (Linux preferred)
Execute reactive and preventive maintenance using defined Plans of Action (POA)
Partner with internal teams and customers during service events
Maintain real‑time, detailed documentation of work performed
Participate in on‑call rotations and extended‑hour support as required
Contribute to shared documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years experience in Field Service Engineering
3–5+ years experience in Data Center Operations
3–5+ years experience in Enterprise or Server Hardware Support
Strong hands‑on experience with CPU, memory, power supply, GPU replacements
Strong hands‑on experience with full server swaps and deployments
Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems
Proven troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills
Ability to work independently on‑site with strong customer interaction
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work flexible schedules and on‑call rotations
Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
Preferred
Dell or other OEM certifications
