Responsibilities
Review and process applications for completeness and accuracy
Submit applications to carriers and track progress throughout the underwriting process
Schedule medical examinations for clients when necessary
Enter client data into multiple systems to ensure information is timely and accurate
Identify inefficiencies in the application/underwriting process and suggest improvements
Educate brokers/clients about underwriting guidelines, processes and timelines
Attend carrier and upline trainings on new processes and products
Clearly communicate with brokers, outside vendors and clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Easily adaptable to changes in processes and priorities
Accountability / collaboration
Customer-oriented and professional
Accept and provide feedback for the betterment of the team
Strong multi-tasker with a high level of accountability
Preferred
Experience with all product lines including Life, Disability, Long Term Care and Annuities is a plus
