Responsibilities
Perform strength, stiffness, and fatigue analyses across multiple vehicle systems to ensure design robustness and structural integrity
Conduct test-to-CAE correlation studies to validate simulation results and refine analytical models
Create finite element meshes from CAD data or conceptual sketches using industry-standard meshing tools
Provide technical guidance to design engineers to ensure all components meet durability and performance requirements
Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis inputs, methodologies, and validation results for traceability
Utilize and continuously enhance proficiency with CAE tools such as nCode DesignLife, ANSA, MetaPost, OptiStruct, HyperWorks, and ADAMS
Evaluate and benchmark new analysis methods and software tools; contribute to process automation and method development for improved efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
5+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle-level CAE analysis, testing, and structural validation
Proven experience performing linear, non-linear, fatigue, and dynamic analyses, as well as design optimization using standard CAE tools
Strong understanding of mechanics of materials, structural behavior, and fatigue principles
Proficiency in ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView, MetaPost, nCode, OptiStruct, or equivalent CAE platforms
In-depth knowledge of vehicle performance criteria, including defining load cases, setting targets, and developing validation and testing plans
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a collaborative, results-driven approach
