Responsibilities
Improve conversion our checkout page that handles billions in global transaction volume
Create embeddable payments primitives that developers love to use
Build beautiful interfaces that help business owners get paid frictionlessly
Ship full stack code across our Next.js frontend and Ruby on Rails backend. You might even find yourself in Rust
Instrument and iterate on new features through experimentation
Qualification
Required
Have a designer's eye. You notice when spacing is off, when animations feel janky, when flows could be simpler
Understand that payments UI is a trust exercise
Have built embeddable components that lived inside other people's products
Comfortable with financial systems and know how money moves
Ship fast without sacrificing quality
