Responsibilities
Design and develop optimized ABAP solutions using HANA pushdown techniques (AMDP, CDS Views)
Build and expose OData services and support complex integration scenarios
Perform performance tuning, ATC checks, and code optimization for HANA-based applications
Develop enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom objects aligned with best practices
Configure and customize SAP MDG modules including Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance
Perform data modeling, UI modeling, workflow configuration, and BRF+ rule implementation
Implement validations, derivations, change request processes, and replication frameworks
Support CVI (Customer-Vendor Integration), hierarchy management, and data quality initiatives
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable MDG solutions
Lead requirement gathering workshops and solution design discussions
Prepare and review functional and technical specifications ensuring design alignment
Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployments
Provide ongoing production support and continuous improvement recommendations
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in SAP MDG
Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA
Deep functional knowledge of MDG processes
Design and develop optimized ABAP solutions using HANA pushdown techniques (AMDP, CDS Views)
Build and expose OData services and support complex integration scenarios
Perform performance tuning, ATC checks, and code optimization for HANA-based applications
